Almost every time Apple comes out with a new product, somebodies start wailing and gnashing teeth over the name. Geeeze fskn Louise.

iPhone - people got over it.
iPad - people got over it.
MacBook - people got over it.

Etc. Whatever they call it, people will get over it.

The same discussion occurred around 1989 when Apple introduced a computer with the Mac SE form factor, but with a 68030 processor. When the Mac II was upgraded to 68030 it became the Mac IIx, so people were arguing that the 030 SE should be the SEx, but Apple called it the SE/30.

I would recommend the self-deprecating online product name commentators to open a basement window and get some fresh air. Even better to go outside; But one small step at a time.
