He was in Brady time and the book I found very interesting not just for graphics but historical text. America’s forgotten Photographher Timothy O’Sullivan.

Yes, very cool stuff..Never forgotten tho....His work was a huge part of the "Rephotographic Survey' Where Mark Klett and a few others found the camera positions of Sullivan and other photogs from that period and 'rephotographed' the landscape as it had come to be in the 1970's..part of it here:
