Reviews seem to indicate that it's a little larger than a standard 9 volt battery, which means that it might not fit in all devices.

Does anyone have any experience with this battery?

It happens. Some of my rechargeable AA batteries are 30-50 thou bigger in diameter than others. They get stuck in some flashlights, for example.

I'm familiar with variation in 9 volt batteries causing trouble sometimes, often having to deal with them stuck in tight battery-compartments.

Haven't had any problem getting the Amazon batteries in or out of devices so far, but I expect that the same trick that I use for other batteries when the fit is tight will work with the Amazon batteries: Place a flat piece of ribbon under the battery with a little bit hanging out at each side. When you want to get the battery out, yank the ribbon at both ends and the battery will usually pop right out.

I keep a roll of fabric-ribbon stowed in a box with holiday wrapping paper and bows, so it's not a big deal to grab it and cut a small length when necessary.

I've put some in smoke detectors. No issues so far, but that's the only device I've needed a 9V for recently.

Oh yeah, I got one stuck in a remote controller. Had to use a screwdriver to pry it out, tearing apart the metal casing in the process.
