Browns have the lead on the Saints. Will it hold up?

Isn't talking about a Browns lead while there is time on the clock the same taboo as talking about AAPL while trading is active?

I am not a Browns fan. I am just intrigued by their curse.

Looks like they blew it at the end.

Nice!

It needs to be wrapped around their kickers Special Teams coach's ankle with the other end around their empty trophy case and at the bottom of Lake Superior.

Once again the officials assist the Steelers with a blatantly bad call.
(You cannot call a completed pass & touchdown when the quarterback was clearly past the line of scrimmage.) It was so clear, even the Steelers' fans were moaning when they first saw the replays.

You and the color commentator need to read the rule . Not ball across line . Every part of passer has to over the line .

srf1957, by all means I will read this rule if you'll provide a link to it. Here's the rule I refer to:

Quote
2018 NFL Rules-Article 2:
If the ball, whether in player possession or loose, crosses the line of scrimmage, a forward pass is not permissible, regardless of whether the ball returns behind the line of scrimmage before the pass is thrown.

There was a bad call in the Green Bay game, also.

Note: It is a forward pass from beyond the line of scrimmage if the passer’s entire body and the ball are beyond the line of scrimmage when the ball is released, whether the passer is airborne or touching the ground. The penalty for a forward pass thrown from beyond the line is enforced from the spot where the ball is released.
The official they have for explanations said his back foot was behind line. Which made it a legal pass.

It seems an official has an "out" option depending on which team he/she favors.
Funny, the Steelers were +4.5 damn you smiley

Um, the second sentence is just further defining the first.
There is no “ option “.
