I sw this guy in the late 70's with my then girlfriend and her parents..didn't know who he was...i was into rock..in a heavy Roxy Music, and the like, phase...This guy blew my friggin mind...he gets compared to Frank Sinatra..MEH..i never liked that comparison..sad to read this news..incredibly versatile talent and one of the most magnetic performers I've ever sat in front of..

Yes..like most Armenians, dynamic, versatile, ridiculously intelligent, active and passionate people. I know a lot of Armenians, grew up in a flock of them, and they are all a force to be reckoned with..they set an example for everyone to follow..especially in light of the hardships they have faced and their continuing effort to be a solid community that is far flung..

Anthny Bourdain did a piece on the Armenians and it is one of his best..riveting history, amazing fortitude.
