My iPhone rang, but it was my iPad that I really heard ringing. Very loudly.

I have a cell model, but I have not activated that, and as far as I know, I have not associated my number with that iPad.

Also, I have a Ooma VOIP number, but I have not activated the Ooma app on my iPad.

WTH

How do I stop it from "ringing". I take it to places where it needs to be silent.

To me, this does not seem like a feature, more like it's an intrusive nuisance.

Growing older is mandatory. Growing up is optional.

I've left that feature On for one iPad.

It stays in the living room, always, not because of some OCD issue, but because that where I ever need it.

Most of the time I have my Watch on, and my 'Phone can be anywhere. More than once, I've answered and taken a call on my iPad.

My only nit on that is when I do have my 'Phone or Watch, the iPad usually rings for one or two times after I answer. The caller invariably asks 'What was that?'
