Nintendo Switch Screwdriver Kits - iFixit.com Tools any good???

I started looking at basic sets to do some repair on my kids Nintendo Switch Joy-Cons and somehow I started looking for slightly better kits and looking for advice.

Here is what I'm thinking of grabbing knowing I can use it for other repairs.

My second option is this kit... and it's about half the price.

If it was me, I'd go for the iFixit set. Looks less fiddly, and I've used their tools before and trust them.

life it too short to work with low quality tools.

if you plan to do other repairs in the future, get the better set.

Duh iFixit.
You would need pliers, needle nose with grip to get the other brand bits out.

FWIW, I bought this set to work on my wife's Macbook Air. The set has everything I need (and had good reviews). My problem with the repair had nothing to do with the tools, but rather my own incompetence. I'll get another chance to use them this weekend when I try fixing it again. smiling smiley

I've had several smaller iFixit tools sets, finally bought this one for convenience. I already have the mats and iOpeners so this finished the kit.

I've seen two small iFixit kits, and while handy, they aren't particularly good quality, but they do the job and are what is needed.

Their bigger kits may be of higher quality; I can't speak to that. The task-related kits I'd consider as disposable.
