I went to goggle.com using my Linux box w/ Firefox and it tried to open 1 pop-up. Nothing more. As I'm at work, I don't want to try my Windows machine, just in case.

Edit: Nope, it is down now for me too. It showed someone entering goggle.com into IE then the flood of Pop-ups that took over the computer until it Blue Screened. Impressive.

Yeah, I was gonna say just plug it into the Internet without any spyware or virus protection and you should have a dead comp in no time.

Years ago, when I finally got a Mac for our kids I let them each have a hand on our Windows (windows 98, piece of CRAP) machine and we dropped it out the window, three stories from our apt. window, it exploded on the sidewalk. Then we cleaned everything up....that was fun. They still talk about it..

That's pretty cool. My friends and I will occasionally take some piece of electronic junk out back and introduce it to the sledgehammer. Gets out some stress for sure.

Well I've had uncontrollable browser window opening in Windows and on a Mac, so I don't need to see it.
On Windows I've always hit cntr/alt/del and been able to stop it, then wait for all the windows to close.
On my Macs I've pulled the modem connection. It's been a while.
