do you know this Trane AC filter?

It's an old Trane AC system.
The filter is behind the LED pull out drawer and another above it.
The LEDs are all lit up indicating clean or change is needed.
Anyone know, do I change these or wash them or ..... ?

It's an electrostatic air filter that is probably cleanable.

Be careful not to damage the wires that go from one end to the other inside. They are fragile.

I've had honeywell brand electrostatic air filters and the cleaning procedure is to immerse in a tub of water with a simple detergent and gently agitate. Then rinse with a stream of water to remove the rest of the dirt and residual detergent. Air dry completely and try and see if they work.

Unfortunately the electronics that control the filter can be fragile and expensive to replace.

Mike F is right try to get the Trane filter cleaning instructions off the internet.

Good luck.
