If any are still interested I will give some more clues as to its location. I'll start by narrowing it down to England and remind you that rock is involved in the trivia question that came into my mind. Rock as in rock music and given that my age is in the mid 50s we are actually going back to an album made over 35 years ago. It was this aerial shot though which got me thinking as there are features seen that are significant. Also a huge clue is the name of the picture file I used.

Surely you don't need any more than that.

Although you are not correct there is a bit of a coincidence as a friend we have known for 25 years is a Scientific Editor for them and her husband was the person who introduced me to Macs so many years ago. So impressed I went out and bought a brand new Performa 400.

So what made me think of a trivia question?

I was assuming Lindisfarne. The OGWT appearance was about 35 years ago.

While visiting places I knew on Google Earth I saw this overhead shot showing not 5 but 7 bridges. Back in 1970 when the album 'Five Bridges' came out five was all there were and I went over all of them regularly as in 1970 I was a student at Newcastle University.

On a completely different note, your word above doesn't mean you know of the Wee Free Men, does it?

LOL, as in Terry Pratchett or are you calling me a dirty orange bastard. Not that big on fantasy novels but I did enjoy Sky's Hogfather at Christmas. Made up for the diabolically bad TV that was available stateside.

You know that saying is so embedded in me I am not sure where it came from but a fair guess would be from the Oor Wullie comic strip.
