In your mailbox. grinning smiley If not, go to the Costco membership counter and ask for one.
I never received mine and went in for one the other day. They treat that thing, like it is money. They ran my card and checked my address and confirmed it with me. I never received one though.

i went to Costco yesterday to buy TurboTax and saw that it required a coupon. i went to the service desk and asked for one; they rooted around a bit and found a coupon for me. i had done a return a bit earlier so the woman already knew i was legit i guess.

anyone else purchase TT? i don't plan on opening the box and using it unless i don't qualify for the Free filing TurboTax. the box seems really empty but maybe there's just no jewel. is there really a disk in there?

I picked it up yesterday at Costco. There's a TurboTax CD in a paper sleeve, and a slip of paper with an ad for Experian credit monitoring.

there were actually 2. There was a big one that is manufacturer's type coupons that is horizontal format, and the Costco passport book that they have usually twice a year. Both were supposed to have been mailed out, with the manufacturer's book a bout a week earlier than the Costco one. I picked up a second Passport book at the customer service counter.

Your mileage may vary significantly. They wouldn't budge for us and I was even nice. Not easy for me given the general disdain I have for most people. Our letter jotted out today after running into a brick wall over a coupon:

"We are a little disappointed with your current coupon policy and customer service. We went to purchase TurboTax Deluxe at your XXX location on January 20th, as there was a $15 off coupon. Unfortunately, we never received our coupons in the mail. I thought it a simple matter just to go to the service desk and request them, but apparently, under no circumstances, are they allowed to distribute them.

I spoke with your Manager, XXXX, and he confirmed that nothing could be done. I explained that this promotion was for all levels of membership, in fact it is offered on Costco’s website sans coupon. The coupon offer is even publicized in-store. I suggested our membership could be checked via our card and eligibility determined. None of this was possible. We picked up the TurboTax at full price to be done with it, but given the ready availability of this on your website and the lack of support for the missing coupons we were a little frustrated.

Your Manager’s suggestion was to take it up with our Post Office. Clearly, waiting in line at the Post Office and asking them to find missing Costco coupons would not be an efficient or productive use of time. We enjoy Costco and will continue to enjoy our relationship, but by way of constructive feedback and continuous improvement would like to express our disappointment over this policy. The coupons are a nice incentive, but we certainly won’t be waiting at the Post Office every time coupons go missing. This seems a little silly.

Thanks,
XXXX"

At my Costco I was purchasing something for which I didn't know there was a coupon. My checkout person said, "Oh, there's a coupon for that." She reached in her drawer, pulled out the coupon book, found the coupon, scanned it, tossed the coupon book back in the drawer.

you freaked me out with this since i file 2 Schedule Cs! i sent an inquiry to Intuit and asked for a clarification. the descriptions on the site say Home & Business TT has 'expanded guidance' for schedule C but did that mean TT Deluxe had no support for Schedule C. here is the reply:

Using the information you have provided us, yes you can still use TurboTax Deluxe but it have limited help not much as for the TurboTax Home and Business which have expanded interview guides that will guide you steps-by-steps through Schedule C, categorizing business expenses, home office deductions, depreciation and more. If you are filing much of Schedule C related I would advice you to use TurboTax Home and Business because it will be easier for you.

so i'm going to keep TT Deluxe for now. Home and Business TT is way more expensive and i've been filing Sch C for 20 years now so i should be able to manage.

yeah - the grammar in the customer service reply sucks. wonder where CS is actually located...
