20 Year Old Crypto Puzzle Solved
Posted by: MindMeld

Interesting article about a Belgian programmer who solved a 20 year old crypto puzzle designed by Ron Rivest for a time capsule.

For you old timers read to the bottom to see what early PC game program was included in the capsule.

So how did they know what the correct answer was when they created the time capsule?

I’m still waiting for a solution to Kryptos (1989 I think). The Yahoo message board discussing it has evolved into a cacaphony of kooks and weirdos.

The Yahoo message board discussing it has evolved into a cacaphony of kooks and weirdos.

That applies to anything evolving discourse at Yahooooo!

If DuckDuck could let me blacklist various sites in searches, Yahoo! would be the first.

Any replay from Yahoo quickly ends up with responses that not only do not answer my question but are not only unrelated to my search, but to the question the Yahoo member asked.

The only thing I liked about them were their early TV commercials, which were great.
