....one issue is after AT&T took over......they laid off people in Time Warner across all departments.....that included many layoffs in HBO.....most highly doubt that the old 'HBO' will survive.....they will have a few 'legacy' shows but the innovative programming is likely dead......

Like many other HBO offerings. Will keep.
But NOT "no matter what"; that's too open-ended.

....if you were lucky enough to lock in the DirecTV Now $5/mo price before they upped it, that price is locked in for now.....it is the cheapest price you will get for HBO on any service........if you cancel, you will lose it.......

I had subscribed for years - but HBO got into a "dispute" with Dish a while back so I haven't had them for months - and see no reason to subscribe elsewhere. There are ways to see the few things they offer that I might "need" to see.

I’ll keep it for awhile, but a culling is coming.

We got it free because we are AT&T unlimited subscribers. Neither I nor my wife have watched that show. I mainly watch John Oliver. Oh, and I DVR'd the Rock and Roll HOF ceremony.
