I have a Mitsu for a few years in my bedroom. The only problem is that when the outside temperature gets down to about the mid-thirties, It doesn't heat as warm as the set temp.

Heat pumps are very ineffective in temperature that cold. Some heat pumps have an electric emergency strip built in for heating in low temperatures.
