First, UNPLUG the saw...

Next.. make sure the saw is UNPLUGGED...

(yeah, you laugh NOW.... when you have all 10 fingers....)

You probably can find a PDF online at Sears if it is a fairly current model but it should be fairly straight forward.

Unplug it and then block the blade from turning with a piece of scrap wood by pressing the teeth into it.

Take a wrench (supplied if it came with one or standard offset box or open wrench.
Remove bolt - check bolt for rotation direction - remember that some circular saws and
miter saws are not "lefty loosey" but the opposite - clockwise to loosen instead.

remove bolt and washer - pull back guard and replace blade and reverse procedure
to mount new blade. New blade may have to have center knocked out if it is a diamond
and the arbor is a round one.

Oh.. forgot to add...

Look at the nut closely, it may be a LEFT HAND thread, in which case, you turn it the "wrong" way.

It should have a spindle lock button. (to stop the blade shaft from turning).

There shoul be a rotation arrow on the blade.

The nut should loosen the same direction as the arrow.
Lefty-loosey, righty-loosy depending on whish side of the blade the lock nut is on.
(usually opposite the motor)

Thanks. It wasn't so simple. There was about 3 things to remove just to get to the blade. I think its a cheap saw.

I bet those three things you had to remove where part of the safety guards.
