The billing month just ended, the only charge for the month was $0.40.

The online statement shows an entry for the last day of the billing cycle that says "Credit Adjustment" $0.40.

So it looks like they paid the bill for me, so that it would have a zero balance, so they wouldn't need to mail a paper statement, which would cost them more in postage to send.

Repeat that every month for a few lifetimes and you might be able to buy a monitor stand.

When I got FreedomPop a few years ago, their "free" plan is actually $0.01 a month. I hadn't really noticed it until one month when I didn't charge anything on that card and got a bill for $0.01. What a pain.
