34" Ultrawide now less than $300? (EDITED because it's low end)

(EDIT: now see that this is only 25600 pixel width. Low end. Never mind. Move along)

Had no idea that these super wide HD monitors were now in the $300 range.

Don't know if I'll ever give up dual monitors, but this sure makes a case for switching to one giant single screen.

I also don't know if I'd be a fan of a curved screen. Do any of you used a curved monitor and do you love it?

That's still only a 2560 wide monitor in that low end 34". More of a gaming monitor to be honest... Step up to the Thunderbolt 2 or Thunderbolt 3 variants for 3440x true ultra widescreen. I use two every day, both curved stacked on top of each other. Couldn't be without a (real) ultra widescreen now. So much room smiling smiley

Still have a 30" Cinema display positioned vertically next to it though. Don't want to give those up. The "ORIGINAL" widescreen smiling smiley

Good Luck!

Oh, that's true. My current 25" inches monitors have 2560 in each.

What 34s are you using, Jamie?

Interesting, jdc. You're the first person I've heard from who has owned one. Like you, I've used dualies for so long, I don't even notice the middle bevels any more, so I've wondered if a single superwide would really be an advantage. Thanks for posting the feedback. Curious: what make/size monitor is the right one in that pic?
