During the World Series of 1960, The Yankees outscored the Pittsburgh Pirates 55-27, they outhit the Pirates .338 to .256, they hit ten home runs against four, and got two complete-game shutouts from Whitey Ford.
Yet the Yankees lost the World Series to Pittsburgh!
