my son and i went up to Cumberland Mall in Atlanta to take a look at the new phones. we went late thinking any crowds would have died down. went to Costco first to grab a bite to eat and then strolled over to the mall building where the apple store is.

both of us stopped in our tracks when we saw the line similar to the one posted except with more people. this was probably 8:15pm. the Apple store closes at 9:00. yeah. no. we're not waiting. i'll come back another day.

A new chicken sandwich?

Visited an Apple store this week, was packed before the new iPhones and Apple watches were released.

The lines you see are AFTER Apple set up schedules for people to come.

I think people are excited about the new camera. It’s a real thing - and the iPhone camera is once again great.

I think that a lot of people have old iPhones and didn't like the cost of the Xs, were waiting for the next phone to come out before upgrading.

I happened to drive past the University Village Seattle store just before opening that day.. Must have been 50 people waiting.
