The pundits who wrote Washington off were just a bit confused, they thought it was the football team they were commenting on.

It's a very good kind of frustrating series.... OOH, I like the Nats, and they've got a good story this year, OTOH, I really like anybody that beats the Yankees, and the 'stros also have a compelling story this year. The winningest team in the bigs vs. perhaps the hottest wild card team evah. I like series like this, since w/o a dog in the fight, I can appreciate the baseball w/o being jaded by a rooting interest.

That said, I do have a pretty healthy collection of extra-large, (mostly) white, fitted, all cotton, New Era baseball caps; they're very hard to find (in the right size), so my collection is, in part, based on availability, rather than totally on desire.... so as the fates would have it, I only have an Astros cap from a logo, or two, variant in the past. No Nats, though I tried several years back when one of Baby Buzz's boyhood buddies played for 'em, before getting traded, and still will get one if I do find one.
