....set two new milestones by reusing a booster for the fourth time and the first reuse of a nosecone/fairing. Booster successfully landed on the drone ship. I heard they cancelled plans to recover the fairings (by catching them in a net) at the last minute. Not sure if they fished them out of the sea.

I hadn't heard they scrubbed the fairing recovery by Ms. Tree and Ms. Chief (the fairing recovery ships). Wonder why?

Booster 1048 (gotta start giving those names...) sure stuck that landing! As close to center of the drone ship as I've seen, with nary a bounce!

Haven't heard if all 60 StarLink satellites have activated and deployed their solar wing or not. Last I heard on the webcast was they had successful release from the docking adapter.

I'd like to think the latter will be somewhat resolved by a "space observatory" surcharge that SpaceX can attach to their internet service, much like the currently mandated FCC Universal Service and 911 fees, but rather than funding rural/educational/emergency telecommunications it would fund the launch and maintenance of hobbyist accessible mini-Hubbles.
