Didn't really buy anything much. Grabbed a gift for my son and a couple of books for my wife and mom.

Thought about grabbing an updated Roku for the living room and rotating the other two too new locations but nothing seemed that much of an improvement over the models I had.

Was loosely in the market for a new printer, TV and sliding miter saw. Bought nothing.

voted $0, but I did buy something on the Friday before: music! yes, I bought CDs online directly from a record label. $38 inc shipping for 6 CDs. pretty good, if you ask me.

You are one of those people that puts a gigantic ribbon on a new car

That is supposed to be anything above $3200.

So far, I win the prize for most $$ spent.

I started transitioning to Sony mirrorless a couple of years ago with an a7r III purchase. I wanted a second body but the A7r IV and A9 II releases didn't meet my expectations. I didn't really want 61MP and I wanted A9 features with 32-36MP of resolution.

However, B&H Education started offering the a7r IV for $2450--over a $1000 off of list. I couldn't resist. More megapixel than needed, but the AF, EVF, and ergonomic improvements made the camera at this price point, irresistible. And if the a7 IV turns out to be amazing (32-36MP with improved EVFand ergonomics, and better AF than the r IV), I can sell one of my r cameras to defray most or all of the cost. At least that's how I'm spinning it.

Certainly enough spent for a used car so you can vote for that last option.

Nada, zip, zilch, nothing.

BF & CM "deals" hasn't motivated me to participate for several years now.

Naw,

Assuming that your poll options are mutually exclusive, my spending fits firmly in the $1600-$3200 alternative.

Got the 256GB AT&T iPhone 11 Pro Max for $1250 plus a $300 gift card at Walmart (effectively making it $1060 after tax).

Also got the $218 iPad at Target.

Voted in the tier below car ribbons, but the big purchases were an iPhone (handing old one down), upgrading cell service, and tires. These things were all going to happen anyway, but they happened now because of deals. As far as the more typical stuff, it was under $50: couple cheap rokus and a free plus shipping flashlight.

Besides the OWC Mac, I purchased some hard drives (good, not great, prices) plus dongles for the new port-less Mac.

Earned my wife's scorn when she learned my 24 year-old son and I purchased a quad copter to play with over the xmas holiday.

I'm not looking at total $$$.

Nope, not gonna do it.

But I did get a few more things than I planned.

10T W-D external HD. Shucked and jived
LaCross Atomic clock
BRV solo/stereo portable speakers
CCC5
Two Watch bands I've been wanting, third-party, no Sale on Apple bands
Anova nano
Mac mini
Elgato EVE light switch
Contactless Line Tester and a Wall outlet tester

An Series 5 Watch would have adorned the list and my wrist, but nobody had the one I wanted on sale, so it back to the Mac Store. I have just enough discretionary funds left for it and enough ramen to keep from digging into discretionary funds in progress.

Nothing, but today I donated to a local rescue group. Any donations I make are nearly all done in December. I will be making a small one to Gutenberg’s library again, in her memory, and to a couple of others.

We love our LaCross clock, but it sure eats a LOT of batteries...

The last straw was the August lock at 119. That was one for me, one for my brother.
Before that, 2 eve light switches, an eve room, two pairs of steel chopsticks, and...

We love our LaCross clock, but it sure eats a LOT of batteries...

I use rechargeables, and this clock can use up to three AAs in parallel!

2 eve light switches... two pairs of steel chopsticks,

My EVE switch is BT only, and may pose a problem given the distance between the switch and my HomePod and where every a Siri device might be at any given time. I'd hate to send it back.

I had a heck of a time finding decent sticks. I wanted metal, but almost every AMZ offering had complaints about them arriving bent do some degree.

Two pair that I settled on have concentric grooves around the tips, apparently to aid the grip at the tip. They actually seem to help squeeze anything other than noodles out.

I'm thinking of taking some 320 or 400 sandpaper to them. LOL!

But I still use a fork for fried rice. I don't like the 'hold the bowl, scoop the rice to your mouth' method.

For ME, it isn't a fare question. My partner's birthday is 12/12, so it is natural to shop around BF and Cyber Monday, just so the gifts arrive in plenty of time. Do I get a pass for that?
