Best free disk cloning tool for Windows 7?

Need to upgrade a couple of drives in a few Windows 7 machines (before the Win 10 upgrade is done). Any suggestions for a reliable tool that I can use on 3 machines? Really no ongoing need for this, so I don't want to spend a ton of money.

When looking for Windows freeware/cheap-ware, I feel like I'm stepping in a potential minefield of malware if I inadvertently end up with something that is sending data back to China or something.

I don't mind spending a few bucks if a tool is worth it, but I know there are often free/cheap tools that will handle my very limited needs. Ideas?

I haven't used this in years, but it worked well the last time I had to use it

This has always been a winner for me: [www.macrium.com]

Or, if drive A is equal to or smaller than drive B (the one you're cloning to), then something similar to this is a great option (which I see is no longer available): [www.amazon.com]
I have used mine a handful of times since buying it a couple years ago, and it's worked seamlessly.

Doesn't the Disk Utility in OS X do cloning too?

Another vote here for Macrium Reflect. The free version should be all you need.g

Macrium is great... unless you have several partitions that need to be duplicated to a larger drive and the data partition is not the last one on the drive.

Edit: added text about issues cloning to a larger drive.

This was also suggested in a thread to me about a week back...

MiniTool Partition Wizard used to be my default suggestion (and I prefer to boot from a disc or flash drive in order to clone two drives, not run an application on the drive being cloned like Macrium does), but they have removed some functionality in the newer free versions. Version 9.1 still works just fine, though. I just used it the other day to migrate a Windows 7 installation from a HDD to a SSD.
