What does this mean?

Sitting at my desk doing productive stuff with my Mac. Accidentally hit the height adjustment lever on my chair, dropping the level. This is annoying, because I'm kinda picky about the height and know that I will now need to micro-adjust a few times to get it right again.

For about 2 moments I scanned my brain trying to remember the command to undo the last change so that the chair would return to it's previous position. I'm not kidding.

Use paint, Liquid Paper, or fingernail polish to make a small reference mark for the exact right height once you get it dialed in again.

True, but prefer command-z.

I would have long since committed Hara Kiri were it not for command-z.

It means you have a very good chair that doesn't suffer from slow leaks like most older chairs, and you don't have the muscle memory to reach for the lever like the rest of us do.

It means that you need to get away from your computer for a while. It also means that you need to devise more meaningful subject lines.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

Got it. Apologies for the vagueness. Didn't mean to be overly cute or click bait. Just wanted to share a humor moment that I thought people on this board could relate to, but should have thought about a better Subject line.

Presumably people here gripe about subject lines because they resent having to read a thread to see what it's about, thereby wasting their dearly valuable time. But, the same folks have ample time to gripe about anyone who doesn't make the effort to write an informative and comprehensive subject line...
