Dear Basketball

I never got around to seeing Kobe's Oscar winning short film, but I found time yesterday. Pretty amazing. If you haven't seen it, the link is below (it's only about 5 minutes). But read this NYT article first for some perspective on what went into it. After reading the last sentence of the article, the final moment of the film is even more poignant.

It does far more than that.

It gives insights that probably never made the news or ESPN.

Thank you for that.

That was incredible.

I was a bit verklempt.

I don't follow sports, but I wish I'd seen this sooner.

I'm not much of a sports fan, and up until yesterday, couldn't have told you one thing about Kobe Bryant.
This animated video from 2017 is especially poignant in light of yesterday's news and will move you, sports fan or not.
Thank you for posting.

Thanks for the link, but I couldn't help noticing that almost a quarter of its run time consists of the end credits.
The story/animation itself is only 4 minutes long.
