Suggestions for online sign language learning resources?

Looking to expand some horizons and have a new skill in my repertoire. Not looking to do this as a profession, just thought it would be a helpful skill when out and about. I see many videos on YouTube etc. Not looking to attend formal classes since I am not in need of certification. Any resources that are better than others?

I took an American Sign Language course at a "Vocational-Technical" College back in the day and really enjoyed it. I know you said you weren't looking to attend formal classes, but maybe there's a local community college that offers the course that you could sit in on.

I heard the Houston Astros have a few sign languages kits left over, you could probably pick them up fairly cheap. baseball bat smiley
