I liked it better than Gone with the Wind.
It wasn't at all what I expected and I enjoyed it very much. It moved along at a good clip and was entertaining. I'd watch it again!

We loved it. Even my 20 YO son did.

I liked it OK. It's what I call a "good little movie". I think its win at the Oscars indicates that there were no great films up for awards this year.

"In science it often happens that scientists say, 'You know that's a really good argument; my position is mistaken,' and then they would actually change their minds and you never hear that old view from them again. They really do it. It doesn't happen as often as it should, because scientists are human and change is sometimes painful. But it happens every day. I cannot recall the last time something like that happened in politics or religion." (1987) -- Carl Sagan

We loved it. Original, unpredictable, laugh out loud funny, and DARK. Not sure I'd watch it again though. There's just so much new highly acclaimed content out there nowadays and only so many hours in the evening.

Though very very different films, Parasite struck me much the same way American Beauty did at the time.
