I am very affected by DST. And jet lag. My body will just refuse to wake up for a week until 8AM instead of 7. Aargh.

I wish they would just move the time 30 minutes and then leave it alone forever. No more one hour forward/back, just a one time half-hour change - simple and done.

I just spent less than 2 minutes changing my clocks. Now I get roughly 200 hours of extra daylight.

Posted earlier. I want negative DST from May 1 to Sept 30. I hate it being 95 degrees at 9pm!

Meh, doesn't matter to me one way or the other. I've always been good at adapting.

We adapt without issue.

But it's stupid to play with time, which is ALL we're doing now since the original reason for its use has long since been irrelevant apart from whatever lobbyists are helping keep it around.

I want clocks to be adjusted so that Sunrise is 5:30 AM every day. It would be better for our internal circadian rhythm.

I don't mind over all - I HATE losing an hour in the spring, but love it when the sun is setting so late in the day. I'm used to it - it's fine.

I only have one clock that needs manual adjustment, but it's a BITCH to do and I often let it go for a week or two.

No biggie for me. I think our cars and maybe a couple wall clocks are all that need manual adjusting. And the cars have a convenient "DST on/off" toggle.

But I love this classic:

Love the extra daylight after work.
I also love the extra hour of sleep in the fall.

I'm against Daylight Saving Time being made the standard, and now I have scientific reasons to support Standard Time.

Daylight Savings Time is just another example of man's arrogant attitude whre he thinks he can control Nature, or in this case speed up or slow down the earth's rotation by one hour twice a year. There are still a lot of people in the world who think they're "morning people" or "late night people" who haven't figured out they can shift their schedules to become like just about everyone else. Got a friend like that who can't get up before the crack of Noon but stays up until 2 or 3am every night. Places a real burden on her co-workers who can't schedule early morning work meetings because of her.

Make it TWO hours and keep it the whole year. I don't care if it is light at 5AM but it had damn well better be light at 5PM!!
