This is a common and avoidable knee-jerk need to label something without having all the facts. Virologists have a capacity and responsibility to drill down and find origins and causes, you and I do not and cannot.

Non professional YouTubers come in with a point of view and string together a series of clips to further that point of view. They're proponents who create false impressions that then go viral and can become permanently fixed with people who only scan for information and that's most of us!

Especially true during a crisis, this is an attempt to give a virus that doesn't care about race a point of origin that becomes racist. The 1918 "Spanish Flu" didn't have a Spanish origin but at the time it was politically useful to label it "Spanish" - a label that sticks to this day.

With its vast borders and rampant smuggling, CVD-19 could just as easily made its
way 'by foot' into China from one of its "neighbors".
