It's a great idea and should be carried out at all open retailers. Because most shops are working hard to 'sanitize' their shops before opening. Not that this will actually help a lot, because the damn virus appears to have a LONG life on surfaces. And if Mr. Viral McSicky goes around poking at all the products, well...

What is the definition of a senior 55+, 60+, 65+?
My husband is 72, so I am sure he qualifies under any metric, but just wondering what the norm is.

Here in California it's 65. I think that's pretty universal since it's the age that most senior discounts, medicare and social security kick in (though SS recently moved up to 66).

I think they would know better than to do that for their own sake. But I don’t think seniors are the big hoarders: every age group has its share. When I (a senior) think about how a family with young children must be feeling, I can understand why they would be very tempted to hoard.
