roadrunner AND tv

Can I plug a TV into the cable jack that my roadrunner is connected to? By which i mean can i plug them BOTH in? Like with a splitter I guess.

cool! I suppose it would be easy to try. I just didn't want to lug a big CRT into the other room if it wasn't going to work.

When they installed my roadrunner jack 7 years ago they said they put a damper on it to cut down the signal strength. They said the cable signal would be too strong for the cable modem. I would expect I would get less than satisfactory cable tv from this jack (although I've never tried.)

Not here, my TV and Internet run through two different amplifiers at the back of the house.

well, i dug up a little TV that I can easily carry around. Going to plug it in as soon as i dig up a splitter and see if it works.

well...splitter from Target...a couple extra cables and it works like a charm. Woohoo!
