I have an iPhone 11 running iOS 13.3.1. Today, I inadvertently, moved all the emails in my inbox to the trash folder in Mail. I realized what I did and moved them back. For some reason, they all returned on my Mac Mini, my iPad Mini and my iPad but not all of them made it back to my iPhone. I'm missing the last three months of emails in my iPhone Mail inbox.
Here's what I tried to get them to show up. I deleted the email account, restarted the iPhone and added the account back (tried that three times.) Then, I went to my domain host and checked to see if the emails were still on the mail server and they are there.
Next, I deleted the Mail app on my iPhone and reinstalled it. After enabling the email accounts, those three months of emails are still missing.
I'm pretty sure they're there but hidden. When I look at the number of emails showing in the Unread folder, it says 40 but, if I go to the Unread folder, there are only 4 emails in there. On the iPad, they're all there.
I'm at a loss as to what to do next. Any suggestions?
