my son’s bank account is showing a pending ACH deposit of the Stimulus funds. Don’t know when it will clear; back in january his refund took almost a week to clear.

My son and one of his roommates (out of two) also let me know they got their notification today. Maybe full deposit; have to ask.

Which is great since one of them was out of work already (he was working through early March, as I recall), another was fired today (Kroger over-hired temp stockers, then when they started paying regular employees add'l/hazard pay, they started firing temp stockers), leaving only my son with a semi-part-time job. If all three get the deposit in the next week or two, it will help drastically with at least the coming months' rent & utilities.

Banks usually hold larger checks from unvetted sources (LOL!) for a week to ten days to make sure they clear before making the funds available.

It used to amaze me that federal and state checks were subject to that delay, but I guess with so much forgery and altered stolen checks, it's to be expected.

But anyway, hooray!

Where did they get the bank account information for direct deposit?

Was there a request from for the stimulus check?

Was direct deposit selected on a prior tax return?

I'm still in Full Boomer Mode (not to be confused with FBM) so it's USPS for me, and I won't hold my breath.

I just filed Saturday for my State and Federal returns.

They used the same mechanism with which you received your tax return. In my case, I filed electronically and chose direct deposit. Got my return in a week or so. Same with the stimulus check I guess.

My credit union account was stimulated this morning.

I'm still not sure if this is simply an early refund on 2020 taxes, or money that's in the clear.

.....many are hoping to be stimulated......as soon as possible.....and often.....

Late this week there will be a link on the IRS site to provide your banking info for direct deposit. And to check the status of your check.

Mine is pending.

I got a refund this year so they had my current information on file. It was the same as last year's information (though I paid last year) and several years prior.

Ours showed up this morning in our credit union checking account (same account used for filing our taxes the last couple of years) as pending. Unlike our tax refund earlier this year which had a date the funds would be available, this one has no date which means it should be available tomorrow. And from our checking account, it will go into a separate savings account.

I have a pending deposit for 4/15!

Wife just popped in to mention a news item saying there'll be an April 15th touchdown for those payments. That might account for some of the pending notices folks have been getting.

Nothing yet for me...haven't filed 2019 taxes yet...e-filed 2018 in October 2019 & got both federal & state refunds in less than 10 days.

My deposit had been pending since last Thursday and it deposited today.

my son’s deposit cleared today. ACH transfer pending appeared in my account this morning.
