Has Autocorrect ever caused you embarrassment?

Autocorrect loves to change the lens maker Tamron into Tampon.

"I would highly recommend that Tampon lens over the Nikon equivalent."

I don't think it has ever cause embarrassment, but it has made "interesting" changes. I am learning to edit before hitting send although it has been a slow learn for some reason.

It has changed words on me but never anything that would cause me to lose a job or friend. It never got my parents because they never got into texting.

The first time I saw an autocorrect change, I immediately looked to find how to turn it off. I knew that nothing good was going to come of this...

One of my friends has a dog named Tootsie, Toots for short. It often ends up in texts with one “I” instead of the two o’s.

Autocorrect swore at my mother once with a sexual word. That was not good.

If I try to type "okey dokey" autocorrect likes to change it to "okey donkey".

you get a double whammy when using speech to text on an Android. I have sent some stuff you all would consider appalling, but it went to my partner. She then walks all around the preschool showing the teachers, and everyone howls with laughter.

I don't recall what app's/system's auto-correct gave me a near heart attack when I paused to look over an email message intended for several co-workers (all female), in which I referred to something as an "easy cut-n-paste job". The auto-corrected text did NOT say "cut-n".
