HP Z200 Computer i3 in VGC; replaced the 250GB spinner HD with a 256GB SSD
(cloned) I had laying about. Even though it's SATA-II that made a big difference.
Fast boot-up & apps load a lot faster too.
The display on a LG-22 is sharp using the Intel i3 based HD Graphics (DP port).
Funny to me, they put ten (10) USB-2 ports on this little guy. Innards are easy to
access and hardly any screws used.
But make no mistake, Win-10 is not macOS Mojave. To me, its structure isn't as
intuitive or 'friendly'.
Off to HP Support site to see if there's any updates needed.

That was a crazy good deal. You could easily add a cheap PC USB 3 card and call it good.

I installed a clean Win 10 on a 2007 vintage budget Dull Craptop, and upped it to 4 gigs of RAM, and it is almost useable again. After a cheap $40 SSD, should be good for a few more years.

And I have a few that proved to be non-Mac friendly. Heck, I've even got a few
old SATA-III cards collecting dust! Years of building hackintoshes,
so much hardware with so little resale value. It will be an interesting "experiment".

YMMV-this is what I would do, after researching the hell out of the card and CPU I was going to put in.

there are REALLY cheap generations old processors on eBay. I grabbed a pair of quad core 3.0 XEONs for my Mac Pro 3.1 for under $28 shipped.

Granted, it already had 2 quad 2.8s, but since I was opening it up to clean it out and put in Arctic Silver heat sink compound, why not?

As noted Heck, I've even got a few old SATA-III cards collecting dust! and some
USB-3 cards. That will be the extent of any upgrades.
Using PC as a 'ROM Flasher' tool, it really doesn't call for CPU or RAM upgrades.

Like Racer X. I've done the CPU/RAM upgrades on cMP 5,1's and eBay is the place
to get Intel CPU's & 1333 DDR3 RAM.
fwiw, these machines have 4 RAM slots with a max. of 64GB of 16GB (4x4GB) DDR3-1333 ECC Unbuffered.

Amazingly, old PCs actually run Win10 pretty decent (with SSD). I've always been more of a windows guy than a mac and really am amazed at how the old equipment still does the job.
