Ugh, upstairs neighbor died, Dad had to go and help

my older parents in Romania, living in an apartment building. Upstairs neighbor called, her husband fell in the bathroom. Dad went to help. she works in a hospital, drawing blood and running blood samples. I am worried that she and her husband may have been asymptomatic and dad may have been exposed. Now waiting for test results from the deceased and the wife.

RIP neighbor.

Sorry to hear that. I hope that will be no exposure to worry about as the consequence for the neighborly thing your Dad did.

Best of luck. Being human can be punishing, but what other course is there? Respect to you and your Dad.

Your dad's a good man. I hope he is free of the virus.

So this happened yesterday around 5 PM local time. I talked to them earlier yesterday, before it happened. I just found out today.

Now my sister told me the autopsy results came back, some sort of heart issue, no word if they tested him for covid. he appeared healthy, maybe a little overweight, but no known heart issue.

His son is an oil tanker captain somewhere halfway round the world and they decided to not tell him until after the funeral, which will be tomorrow.

This.

A lot of people wouldn't have, for fear of contracting COVID.

It's hard to fault them; much respect to your dad.
