Nostalgia?
They need to bring back Saturday afternoon Kung Fu movies. Circa,1980, channel 5 at 3pm I think? For full effect, they might as well show them in black and white. Because only the rich kids had color tv back then. And I was never invited over there

El Rey Network has action movies on Sunday. Frequently it is Shaw Brothers films. You can check if your local cable has it.

Loved that series!
The initial big draw for me was Patrick McGoohan, because I'd seen him earlier as John Drake in the terrific B&W Brit series Danger Man.
Up! was very good.
A great example of the Pixar time staving off Disney influence.
