I use my iP7 plus for conference calls in the regular, typically in speaker mode. In the last few days I’ve noticed when set to mute, that is, the soft button on screen is “on” for muting me, audio is still escaping on the conference line. Disengaging/re-engaging the soft button does not seem to resolve. Googling the issue is not getting me anywhere as to root cause or a fix.

Possible red herrings: I have an AW3 present each time. An ipad2018 And/or MacBook Pro 2013 is sometimes present. None show as connected to the call, but all are connected to the iP as far as handoff. iOS fully updated, etc. the not-really muted muting is inconsistent, happening one one call but not the next. Definitely happens for incoming calls, outgoing I’m not sure/haven’t confirmed yet.

Anyone seen this, and know how to fix?
