NFL -
New York Giants cornerback DeAndre Baker and Seattle Seahawks cornerback
Quinton Dunbar have been charged with four counts of armed robbery with a
firearm stemming from a May 13 incident, according to an arrest warrant issued
Thursday by the Miramar (Fla.) Police Department.
Baker is also being charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a firearm,
per the affidavit.

Baker and Dunbar allegedly stole $12,400 and four watches valuated at a total of
$61,100 and were armed with semi-automatic firearms in the course of the
robbery, per the report. However, the report could not "conclusively state that
Dunbar committed the offense of aggravated assault with a firearm." ...

The Seahawks just introduced Dunbar to the media after obtaining him in a deal
with the Redskins Landover Loonies.

(Miramar is in Broward County, north of Miami.)

Sounds like there might be more to the story.

"The wild saga of new Seahawks cornerback Quinton Dunbar’s alleged role in a Florida robbery took another turn Friday afternoon, when it was reported that he and his lawyer have written statements from multiple victims of an alleged armed robbery, proving that he in fact had nothing to do with the crime."

Amazing the effect of a few hundred thousand waved in front of a witness can have. Guy is looking to lose tens of millions.

Interesting that the two players supposedly lost $70,000 a few days earlier gambling with some of the same people. The article doesn’t say where but I’m guessing it was at a house and not a casino. Makes the whole thing possibly a sore loser Incident. And a little more clear. Or maybe not.
