Not exactly smooth sailing. My IOgear KVM is a DVI model. No problem, I thought, since the monitor has a DVI port, right? Except that the package included cables for the display port and HDMI connections, but no DVI cable. So I had to spend 2+ hours going up to B&H to get a cable. They are only open for pickup and shipping; and shipping was going to delay things too much.
Next I had to futz with the KVM, because it likes to have things done in a certain order when you first attach a monitor. After a reboot, everything seems to be behaving and the monitor is lovely: matte screen, and no streaky bits. The NEC should be fine for the things the other human does: it isn't really noticeable on anything except light or white areas. It won't matter for Netflix.
My life goes smoothly and in regular intervals
