Update on updates: Getting a ton of updates (71 in one sitting for me)? Here’s the skinny (kind of).

Okay, I check updates regularly and apply them pretty much as they pop up.

It has seemed like I’ve been getting updates a lot more frequently in recent months, some apps seeming to ask for updates at pretty short intervals. But nothing like this.

WTF?

iOS 13.4, with 13.5 on deck.

... A bit of clarity would be nice, but it doesn’t look like we are going to get it. So you know what to do. If you haven’t looked yet, go to the Apple App Store to see if you have a number of overdue recent updates and make sure you apply them all. This should hopefully fix the “this app is no longer shared with you” issue.

I had 22 yesterday and thought that was nuts. 71 is insane.

For days now, I've been seeing numbers like that (70+ Apps to be updated). In addition to my iPhone, I have several iPads.
