Weird. When the wife sent me the pic, I thought it was the agave and a tree behind it. I didn't realize they were one and the same.

The flowers appear to be open. I'd imagine those would attract hummingbirds. Do they smell during the day, at night, or some other time? I ask because I've never seen an Agave with flowers so close to the ground.
