you could just put on a sprayer top and spray down your hands and rub it in until it evaporates. I do that with hydrogen peroxide bottles.

Yup... works fine in a spray bottle. I can't stand the smell though... I prefer regular ethanol in terms of smell.

This is what I've been doing, using a small spray bottle with iso alcohol. Dries the hell out of your skin, though

Add a couple drops of glycerin (can buy in a drugstore or on Amazon), mix, and that should help.

I add alc to 2 or 3 oz. mist sprayer w/ touch of glyc & aloe vera, then add a few drops of essential oils to "flavor" scent to our liking. Best for us is natural, non-floral. 6 drops coconut + 6 drops citrus (lemon/lime/orange) + 4 drops vanilla is quite nice. Mints (various) + a hint of eucalyptus bodes well, too. For some reason, the alc begets a bigger hit of oils for the scent to survive and prosper than when mixed w/ more benign liquids.

Yep, everywhere I go they have sanitizer @ reasonable prices. Even hydrogen peroxide
is plentiful & cheap, 89¢ a quart @ FoodLion all the time.
But finding plain old, 70% Isopropyl is ridiculous & there's many 'non-medical' uses
for it around the house, etc.
