Panda-Monium ! Red Panda at Columbus Zoo on the loose (update... found safe and sound)

Momma tired of caring for her two cubs, decides to go for a walk on the wild size, see the elephants and the rhinos...

"Officials had been searching for Kora since Wednesday. It’s believed she managed to get out of her enclosure after storms moved through the area and possibly bent some tree limbs down, allowing her escape.

At about 4:43 p.m. Thursday, two guests spotted the panda, which weighs about 19 pounds and is similar in size to a raccoon, in dense foliage between the rhino exhibit and the pachyderm building in the Asia Quest exhibit. When zoo workers responded, the panda climbed into in a nearby tree."

Woodland Park Zoo here in Seattle had their 2 red panda cubs escape Dec 2018 when a branch fell into their enclosure. One was on the loose for about 24 hours. They were just having fun. [www.seattletimes.com]

Wasn't your sister going to get one for me? You were supposed to ask her at Thanksgiving Dinner.

Racer... she's not bringing the babies home any more (well because COVID-19). She used to .... my nephew could duplicate howler monkey calls after helping to bottle feed a baby that had been rejected by his mother.

He's a cool dude... grew up in a very hip household, got his MFA, and is teaching at a couple of art schools plus online. As well as having his own studio and working exhaustively. Mostly sculpture and ceramics these days, but he keeps changing media. An, as an aside, he mentioned that his status as a straight artist made art school a 'target rich environment'. We are expecting engagement news with his 4 year girlfriend, who is a sweet lady... my sister and brother in law adore her.

I thought the post was going to be about Red Panda, the woman who flips bowls with her feet on to her head while riding a 7-foot unicycle. She's been performing during NBA and college basketball halftimes since the early 1990's. In this clip she performed with a new unicycle that was presented to her by the Golden State Warriors after hers was stolen.
