Anyone watching the new series on Apple TV+? I've finished it and really enjoyed the "what if" that it presents. Also liked that it was directed by Ronald Moore who did an excellent job with BSG ten years ago. Anyway, if you were into the 60s-70s apollo program, this is for you!!

Just watched Greyhound (Tom Hanks) on ATV+ last night. Great movie! The 3 mini extras at the end are worth watching too. They discuss how the they filmed in part on the USS Kidd moored on the Mississippi and a soundstage on a rocking gimbal. Not one drop of ocean water. All CG.

I have read a number of books on those convoys, including a book from the german wolf pack submarine side. I think Greyhound captured a snippet in time very well.
