This is great. Glad to see hardware still supported.

Shows how Adobe is using this for driving its business model rather than true customer support. They cannot make a 64bit version of their CC 2018 installer!

Happy they did it, but that ship has sailed for me. I already shelled out more than a few bucks on a couple of aftermarket scanner packages (and finally going with ExactScan, which works great with my S1500M) so Fujitsu can stuff it. When it comes time to replace, I will be looking at other brands, as I expect them to pull a similar stunt as the macOS moves to 11 and the ARM architecture.

[ADDED] FWIW, I never used the storage/sort/filing software that came with the Fujitsu; I only used it to scan to file (PDF, usually), using my own folders & etc. virtual filing cabinet. If you used/liked Fujitsu's software for that sort of thing, it's not a knock and I'm happy they finally updated. I just think it's a telling situation and I wouldn't put my trust in them.

I bought my S300M in what, 2004? 2007? Still going strong.

Undoubtedly the best tech purchase I've ever made.

I just wish that the Epson software was as streamlined as the Scansnap software. The Epson scanner seems to be better than the Scansnap - less misfeeds and jams.

I have an Epson 4990 Pro Photo. It doesn't work in Catalina. I've tried to update it to no avail. I'll probably have to buy the Hambrick Vuescan software. Trying all I can before I do that.

Not sure about that particular scanner, but take a look at ExactScan. I've tried a handful of after-market scanner software, and this one has worked great for me.
