Battery is getting low on my generation Ones....

.....some don't like how you have to stick it in your ear....but that is personal preference......

I find my self in the same position.
I'm mostly concerned about fit, since the original AirPods fit great for me.

I did not buy original because I wanted active noise cancelling.

My one piece of advice is to try smaller than standard size options, I use normal-sized Apple earbuds fine but the smallest work best for me on my Airpods Pro.

I'm in the same boat. Gen 1 batteries aren't lasting long anymore. I do have a birthday coming up...maybe my kids will get the noise canceling version for me.

I will buy them again when I lose one of them, or they fail/break.

I am the only instance I'm aware of that didn't like the Pro version.

They sounded good, and active noice cancelation was good, but they didn't fit my ears, and the iOS kept telling me the fit wasn't good.

Bought the Pros fro my wife for Christmas. Just recently she admitted she didn't like the fit. So I bought her a set a regular AirPods, Gen 2, and I took the Pros.

We're both happy now.
