Uhhh.. hello? Sharing is caring. I don't see a MRF posting about Clorox Wipes being available and in stock at Quill.com. I currently see "Login to see product availability". What's the current status? Especially since it's been posted recently that teachers are desperate and using old gym socks with baking soda to wipe down desks. (kidding).

As much as I'd like to get a pack of Clorox or Lysol wipes, I'll wait until Monday.

It's just not worth it to try to brave Costco on the weekends.

D4,

No special deal involved. Just ordered via my quill.com account a couple of months ago. There was a delay in shipment and I just received them yesterday. Apparently, now, you have to have a Quill.com account to view price and availability.

There are a slew of disinfectants/sanatizers out there that are acceptable alternatives to Clorox wipes. Some of them were detailed in a different thread. A disinfectant liquid sprayed directly on the surface or liquid sprayed onto a paper towel, with which you wipe down a surface. Done.

Eh, soak a rag in H2O2 and boom -- you have a reusable disinfecting wipe.

H2O2 is plentiful in most stores right now, and you can also get this -- I've used it and it's just great to have on hand, happens to be on sale right now: [www.amazon.com]

You can "reload" your empty Clorox wipes container easily - cut a roll of paper towels in half, stuff into the container - mix up a dilute clorox solution at a ratio of 1 cup of hot water and mix in 1/2 tablespoon of clorox bleach.

Or go with the H2O2 idea I posted a few up ... the advantage of H2O2 over bleach being that it breaks down into harmless products and won't generally damage fabrics or other items, and also won't leave any sort of chemical residue.

H2O2 a buck a quart at the dollar store. Screw on pump spray top, and you're done. Spray on door handles, let drip dry no harm whatsoever. Even car door handles. Can wipe down seatbelt buckles too. Bet you hadn't thought of seat belt buckles or interior door handles...... I do NOT want bleach near my cars. You can even use OTC strength H2O2 as an antibacterial mouth wash in a pinch if you have an infection.

Yes, wad the Clorox wipes up, and jam them in with sharp pencils. When they start to come out either your nose, or the opposite ear, pull them free.
