Was doing the family Zoom thing, and got Mystery Music! iPad, iMac, and MBP in da same house Zoomin', and the wired earphones
ONLY in the iPad were playing highly muted music in the background. I shut down all other apps on the iPad, and couldn't get rid of the music until the Zoom meeting ended. Where did the music come from? None of the other Zoomers around the country got the music; just the iPad.
It was as if Zoom was able to target the iPad w/ the Skullcandy earphones... no music w/ different earphones... spousal unit's bro complained about brand new Skullcandy's spousal unit was using on iMac, so I swapped w/ old ones from iPad. iMac OK w/ old earphones from then on, but initial prob was likely just Zoom being funky w/ audio, as it's prone to do; and YKW is quick to complain about anything I try to help her with...
Music was late 70's/early 80's popular music.... no commercials in over 90 minutes, so likely not commercial radio.... I also don't have that genre selected anywhere for our music streaming services. Again, no other apps open on iPad, so where could Mystery Music have come from? BTW, when I returned the Skullcandy's to the iMac after Zooming, they seemed to work just fine.
Thanks, for any understandable explanations.
