Just downloaded and installed the trial version of CrossOver....
Installed easily on my MacBook, despite woefully inadequate RAM (I just finished placing an order with OWC for 1gig RAM... can't afford two gigs yet, but HAD to have more than the 512 I have!).
I installed a cheap architechtural CAD program I've had for a while on my seldom used XP machine.
Crossover is quite easy to install, and get to install the PC program.
The down side is that I'm not getting screen re-draws... (so I can't tell when a dialog comes up, or a button is pushed, or a line is drawn, etc).
I'm blaming my lack of RAM so far...
Suffice to say, right now, I'm very enthused at the prospect of being able to run SOME PC programs I might need to play with WITHOUT needing either of the options that require a copy of Windows first.... (Bootcamp, Paralells).
Now to wait for more RAM to arrive, and hope that it's my lack of RAM rather than CrossOver causing the trouble...
